RUNNING FOR NORTH CAROLINA STATE AUDITOR –

Bob Drach is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), business leader (CFO, CIO, CEO), and public servant (U.S. Peace Corps and New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review).  Bob spent four years working for accounting, tax, audit and consulting firm Deloitte early in his career.  He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University. 

Recent scandal in the Office of the State Auditor requires the next auditor to be qualified and independent of any conflicts of interest.  As the only accountant running for the position this year, and because he is independent of both the democrats and republicans, Bob is the best candidate.  It is important to repair the damage at the Office of the State Auditor and get refocused combating waste, fraud, and abuse and assuring outstanding financial management in state government.
