RUNNING FOR NORTH CAROLINA SENATE 24TH DISTRICT–
At her core, Kathy is a public servant. Kathy entered military service with those values at heart at a time when women in combat arms was the exception, not the rule. She is one of only a few women to graduate from both the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course and the US Army Rotary Wing Flight School. In 1996 she took on her next challenge: the FBI. Kathy became a Special Agent in the Criminal Investigation Division, where she served for 20 years. She fought against fraud and corruption as the case agent on many organized crime, RICO, and healthcare fraud investigations. In 2016, Kathy retired from the FBI. Kathy is now taking on her next challenge, and offering herself up for public service once again.
