All Donations Are Deployed Responsibly

Money. We all know it’s corrupting influence in politics. We know how money in politics is used to tip the scale to the benefit of the few at the expense of the many. What is also true is that money is a an absolute necessity for any successful political endeavor today. In reality, money itself isn’t the problem, but how it’s used.

The North Carolina Forward Party is new type of political party who seek to improve our electoral process by the use of Ranked Choice Voting, Non-partisan primaries and ending gerrymandering. These noble causes that will ensure voters are presented with better choices at the ballot box, which will lower the extremism permeating politics today.

The North Carolina Forward Party pledges to be fully transparent with the public on why we are soliciting donations and how those donations will be used. Donations received by the North Carolina Forward Party will be used responsibly and with the purpose of advancing the Forward Party, which, among other things, is focused on fundamental structural reform of our elections and representation selection process.

Your Donations Will Go Towards:

  • Support Signature Gathering and Canvassing Efforts
  • Purchase materials like Forward signs, flags, tents, pamphlets, buttons, stickers, t-shirts, and other materials to promote the Forward Party.
  • Professional services, like accounting, legal and technical.
  • Other important party-building activities.

Donations Facts:

  • All Donations received through our website go DIRECTLY to the North Carolina Forward Party, and NOT the national Forward Party. This means all the funds solicited from supporters will stay within the state of North Carolina. 
  • All Executive Committee members and state leads are volunteers and collect no compensation.

DONOR REQUIREMENTS:

  1. I am at least 18 years old.
  2. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card or debit card and not with a corporate or business card or a card issued to another person or to an entity.
  5. Until the North Carolina Forward Party achieves political party recognition, contributions are limited to $6,400 per contributor per election.
